Lili M. Freedlander

Lili Freedlander applies a client-centered approach to family law tailoring solutions to meet the unique needs of each individual and family. Devoting her practice to a wide range of family and matrimonial legal matters, Lili is dedicated to advocating for successful outcomes.
Lili completed her undergraduate studies at Florida State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminology. Throughout college, she honed her interest in the legal system, particularly how law intersects with psychology and social issues. Lili continued her education at Michigan State University College of Law, where she earned a Juris Doctorate, with a focus on family law.
While in law school, Lili participated in a housing justice clinic where she gained valuable litigation experience representing clients facing challenges related to eviction, habitability, and maintenance issues. During law school, Lili also clerked at one of Florida’s preeminent law firms, Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP, gaining valuable experience representing clients in divorce proceedings, allocation of parental responsibility matters, and paternity establishment cases. She enhanced her trial preparation and litigation skills through these experiences, which reinforced her commitment to holistic advocacy and delivering thoughtful legal solutions.
In addition to her legal practice, Lili has spoken at various legal education seminars, which deepened her expertise in civil litigation and reinforced her ability to communicate complex legal concepts to both legal professionals and clients.
Lili joined Katz & Stefani as an associate attorney in 2024.
